Are You Ready for Mother’s Day?
May 4, 2018How to Beat the Heat: Tips for Moving in the Summer
May 25, 2018Alan Shamah has made it his mission to create a sense of family and community in all of the Shamco managed buildings. We created this blog so we could share stories with our residents– tips and anecdotes on how to navigate through life with success. That’s not where it ends for Alan. He frequents the buildings owned by Shamah Properties and connects with the residents as much as he can.
What drives this desire to create community among tenants?
“I felt there was a need to get people together. It’s very easy to become isolated living in– not just New York City– but anywhere,” Alan told the BKReader.
During the holidays, Alan has been known to host events for his residents to celebrate and enjoy the season. When the weather outside turns warm, this landlord can be found chatting with residents or hula-hooping with kids from the building.
It’s rare, especially in New York, for a landlord to be so invested in the well-being of his tenants. Alan makes sure that his residents feel like a part of something bigger than an apartment building.
Thanks to the BKReader for sitting down with Alan Shamah. Check out the full story at bkreader.com.
