Parks in South Orange, NJ
Location: Third Street, South Orange, NJ 07079
Features: The Waterlands Park features a baseball / softball field, field sports area, playground, and a walking track.
2. Carter Park
Location: College Place and Irvington Avenue, South Orange, NJ 07079
Features: The Carter Park features a children’s playground.
3. Grove Park
Location: South Orange Avenue and Grove Road, South Orange, NJ 07079
Features: The Grove Park features passive recreation, a children’s playground, and a walking track.

Features: The Meadowland Park features a baseball / softball diamond, and a soccer field.

Parks in East Orange, NJ
1. Columbian Park
Location: In the 5th Ward of the City, borders Springdale Avenue, North Grove Street and 4th Avenue
Features: This park contains a pool with a pool house, a baseball field, 2 basketball courts and a playground. Little League baseball games are played at this park. It is the practice field for the East Orange Wildcats Football Association. On November 11, 2010, Columbian Park Field House was dedicated as the Home Base of the East Orange Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) and the American Legion.
2. Elmwood Park
Location: In the 3rd Ward of the City, borders Elmwood Avenue, Rhode Island Avenue, Freeman Avenue, and Oak Street
Features: This park contains 7 tennis courts on Rhode Island Avenue, a basketball court on the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Oak Street, a swimming pool with a pool house, a walking track, a baseball field, a softball field and a renovated field house. Little league baseball, soccer and summer basketball league games are played at this park. It is the practice field for P.P.Y. (Promoting Progress for Youth) Panther’s Football Team.
3. Francis-Haire Park
Location: In the 4th Ward of the City, borders Grove Street and Central Avenue-behind Dionne Warwick Elementary School
Features: This park contains a pool, small field house, a baseball field and 2 play areas.
4. Memorial Park
Location: In the 2nd Ward of the City, is the backyard of the Main East Orange Public Library branch on So. Arlington Avenue, bordering Freeway Drive East, Lenox Avenue and South Walnut Street.
Features: The park contains 4 tennis courts, a basketball court, 2 play areas.
5. Oval Playground
Location: In the 4th Ward of the City, is the backyard of the Fellowship Civic Center. It borders Greenwood Avenue, Fellowship Circle, Eaton Place, North Grove Street and Grove Place.
Features: This park contains a baseball field, 2 playground areas, a walking track, a field house, a volleyball court and 3 basketball courts. Little league baseball, soccer and summer basketball league games are played at this park. It is the practice field for B.O.Y.A.L. (Better Opportunities for Youth & Affective Leadership) East Orange Rams Football Team. The field house also serves as the home base for the East Orange Recreation T.A.V.E. (Teens Against Violence Everywhere) program.
6. Rowley Park
Location: In the 2nd Ward of the City, borders North Arlington Avenue and William Street. (Currently under construction).
7. Soverel Field
Location: In the 1st Ward of the City, borders Springdale Avenue, Brighton Avenue and North Park Street.
Features: Soveral Park is the largest park in East Orange. It has 2 baseball fields, a softball field, a walking track, 3 basketball courts, 7 tennis courts, 2 playground areas, and a field house. Little league baseball and soccer are played at this park. It is the practice field for East Orange Jr. Jaguars Football Team.
