Happy Friday! At Shamco Management, we try to inspire our tenants and provide a quality source of information that can help enrich their lives. One of the ways we love to do that is by sharing what’s happening around our buildings’ communities or what’s going on around town. In our ‘Living Your Best Life’ series, we try to do that by showcasing inspirational speakers, things to do, places to go or books to read.
This week, we’re talking about the Metropolitan Museum of Art. With the winter weather being unpredictable, it’s hard to make weekend plans that involve being outdoors. The Met is a fascinating place to spend an afternoon inside, though you could easily spend a weekend wondering through the exhibits. As the largest art museum in the country, it boasts a wide range of collections with everything from paintings by David Hockney to Japanese Bamboo Art and much, much more. A museum is a wonderful place to stretch your legs and expand your mind, never knowing when the next turn around a corner could put you face to face with a work of the infamous, Michelangelo.
Whether you’re inspired by paintings, sculptures or the Renaissance itself, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is host to immeasurable wonders for you to behold and be inspired by. Don’t take our word for it, check out the exhibitions at the Met right now! What are your plans this weekend? #GetInspired
