We’re celebrating our independence today! Watching fireworks is one of our favorites 4th of July traditions. Check out our list below to find out all of the places you can watch fireworks tonight.
Belleville – Starting at 6 p.m. at Belleville Municipal Stadium. Will feature children’s games, a trackless train, inflatable rides, and a DJ. The fireworks display will start at about 9 p.m.
Bloomfield’s – Starting at 5:30 p.m. at Foley Field with the fireworks show due to start at 9:20 p.m.
East Orange – Starting at 5:30 p.m. and running until 10 p.m. at Paul Robeson Stadium.
Livingston’s 82nd Annual July 4th Celebration – Starting at 9 a.m. with a classic car show and swim carnival at Memorial Oval on Robert Harper Drive. Activities will be available throughout the day such as Powerhouse Studios Wacky Sports, ice cream eating contest, pony rides. A Bands, Beer, and Wine Café will feature bands from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Epic Soul will play on the main stage at 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.
Maplewood’s – Starting at 9:25 p.m. the Light Show Spectacular on both concert stages at Memorial Park followed by fireworks.
Montclair – Starting at 11 a.m., Montclair celebrates its 150th anniversary with a parade on Bloomfield Avenue. Yogi Berra Stadium will open at 6:30 p.m. for a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
Nutley – Starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Park Oval with music and food. The fireworks will start at dusk. The rain date is the next clear night.
West Orange – Starting at 4:30 p.m. at West Orange High School with a light heart competition, eating contests, and a fun zone followed by fireworks at dusk.
Morris County
Chatham Borough – Starting at 10 a.m. with a parade at Chatham Middle School and a fireworks display starting at dusk.
Denville -Starting at 9:15 p.m. there will be fireworks show at Gardner Field.
Florham Park’s – Starting at 9 a.m. with a flag raising ceremony at Firehouse #1 on Brooklake Road. The parade will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Ridgedale Avenue and Brooklake Road. Fireworks will start at 8:15 p.m.
Parsippany-Troy Hills’ – Starting at 7 p.m. with concert and fireworks and goes through 10:30 p.m. at Parsippany Hills High School.
New York City Area
Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks are set off from barges located on the East River and are spread between 23rd and 40th Sts.
Jersey City’s 5th annual Freedom & Fireworks Festival is being held at Exchange Place from noon-10 p.m. with live music, amusement rides, food and fireworks by Grucci. Snoop Dogg will headline the city’s festival on the Hudson River waterfront.
State Fair Meadowlands has fireworks both July 3 and 4. Admission is $12 with parking for $5. Entrance starts at 2 p.m. and the fair remains open until 1 a.m.
Fireworks in Brooklyn at dusk will be visible following the Brooklyn Cyclones game and from other locations.
