Happy Friday! Welcome to the first of our Tenant Talks interview series with Shamco Management owner, Alan Shamah. Each month we will discuss different topics such as apartment living, events, what makes Shamco unique, and learn more about the team that makes it all happen. In our first Tenant Talks interview, we sat down with Alan to get some background on the company and how it all started:

Q: How long has Shamco Management been in business?

A: Since 1980.

Q: Where did it all begin? 

A: My father Joseph A. Shamah purchased his first building in the Ditmas Park area of building. We have been in Ditmas Park for 38 years.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?

A: I enjoy bringing the buildings back to their original glory so all of the tenants can have an inspiring place to live. Everyone one should feel proud of where they live.
